Since 2005, MODE Aquariums has been designing and building aquarium systems, aquarium equipment, and commercial aquarium systems for hobbyists, retailers, and businesses who share our passion for the aquatic hobby. From freshwater, saltwater, reef, and terrarium environments to large-scale retail installations, our goal has always been to create products that are beautiful, practical, and enjoyable to own.

Our Story
From Aquariums to Aquarium Stores
MODE Aquariums began with a simple belief: great aquarium systems should do more than hold water. They should be beautiful to look at, practical to operate, enjoyable to maintain, and built around the people who use them.Today we work with store owners across the country, from single-location specialty shops to multi-location rollouts, supplying both standard systems ready to ship and fully custom builds designed around a specific space.
As we worked with more aquarium retailers over the years, we saw an opportunity to apply everything we'd learned from designing aquariums and aquarium equipment to the unique needs of retail stores. Store owners weren't just looking for aquariums. They needed complete solutions that looked professional, operated efficiently, supported healthy livestock, and created an outstanding experience for their customers. That became our focus.
Today, MODE specializes in Commercial Aquarium Systems and Custom Solutions that help store owners build new stores, renovate existing locations, and create aquatic environments designed for long-term success.
